With over 40,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors, the productronica trade fair is the largest international trade fair for electronics manufacturing. Our task was to accompany and document the productronica on film.
In the run-up to the event, the focus was on communicating three topics: the shortage of new recruits, the promotion of qualified specialists, and the presentation of startups.
To address the shortage of new recruits, we produced a video highlighting the various professions in the electronics manufacturing industry. After shadowing the protagonists on the job, they were interviewed about the particular challenges and great appeal of their profession. The topic of promoting young specialists and the associated presentation of new startups was the subject of our “Fast Forward” article.
Then we moved on to the second part, the coverage of the trade fair. With a high degree of flexibility and organization, we produced films ready for publication the following day.
